Back in 2000, Larry Poisner called me and
asked if I would join a
Jewish community choir if it existed.
I said... probably.
Well, I did. I was on
the board for four years; other than that, it was fun.
Very early Shireinu. If
you look closely, I'm the onlyoriginal
member left from the first photo. I'm seated next to our
original director, Marie
Lerner-Sexton.
I did some arranging for Shireinu.
There is not a whole lot
of Jewish choral music readily available without networking
and knowing
the people who write it,
so a lot of what I did is to simply fill a
need.
