Hazzan Sheini:  "Sheini" means "second."  There is a LOT of liturgy for the High Holydays (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur), and many synagogues take some load off of the cantor by designating a "second cantor" to lead parts of the services.  For a lay person, it is quite an honor to serve as hazzan sheini.
